Breathing Colours Gallery - a Makers Manifold exhibition

Breathing Colours is a contemporary Gallery in Balmain, Sydney, exhibiting a variety of creative work ranging from jewellery to objects to paintings, sculpture and more. Breathing Colours showcases a new exhibition every two weeks. The exhibition for Wednesday 27th January to Sunday 7th February 2010 is "Chaos:a Makers Manifold exhibition".

Alongside the artwork at Breathing Colours is a retail space, showcasing over 30 Australian designers, artists and makers.

IWC Schaffhausen New Portuguese Collection

On the 19th January 2010 IWC Schaffhausen celebrated the relaunch of its Portuguese collection at the SIHH in Geneva.

More than 600 guests attended the cocktail reception at the Espace Secheron. The central theme of the evening was both nautical and navigational, with various experts on hand introducing principles of meteorology, significance of the sextant, cartography, longitude and latitude.

"The Spirit of Navigation", a short film produced for the relaunch of the Portuguese collection, was premiered during the evening. With Jean Reno and directed by Didier Flammand, the film took viewers through the history and art of navigation, which originated 6000 years ago.

adidas Originals Star Wars Collection

Star Wars and adidas Originals collaborated to produce a range of Star Wars inspired shoes and apparel, which appeared in stores Friday January 15th 2010.

To help celebrate, Originals Concept stores will be giving away a free Star Wars gift with limited edition shoes purchased instore (until stocks last) there might even be some real life characters from a galaxy far far away making some appearances.
