Sonia Rykiel for H&M

Tuesday 1st December 2009 was the date to celebrate the launch of Sonia Rykiel for H&M.

The party was held at the Grand Palais in Paris. The Grand Palais was transformed into a Parisian fantasy land for 2000 guests including Kate Beckinsale, Eva, Nadja, Jean Paul Gaultier, Eva Herzigova and Nadja Auermann, Ellen von Unwerth and Emmanuelle Béart.

Guests walked through an enchanted forest, arriving at a recreation of Saint Germain. Guests were seated under a specially made Eiffel Tower to preview the Sonia Rykiel pour H&M lingerie collection (available in stores globally from Saturday 5th December 2009) and the knitwear collection for women and girls (available from Sunday 20th February 2010).

The collection was presented on floats emerging from a recreation of the Arc de Triomphe with a Parisian funfair as backdrop.
