Ginnifer Goodwin Hosts camilla and marc Dinner at Chateau Marmont

On Thursday 11th June 2009 Australian fashion designers camilla and marc held a dinner at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles for LA fashionistas and powerplayers.

The dinner was hosted in their honour by Ginnifer Goodwin. Goodwin loved their collection so much, she wanted to support camilla and marc when they came to the USA. Goodwin was dressed by camilla and marc in a Zahra frock for the dinner.

Optus 'The Happy Place' iPhone Popup

Optus have opened an inflated pop up venue to at First Fleet Park in Circular Quay Sydney to invite the public to find out more about Apple iPhone 3.0 software.

The public is also invited to 'HAPPlication' sessions, where speakers (ranging from technical to celebrity) will discuss how iPhone plays a part in their work/life. Sessions will run from Monday 22 June 2009 to Thursday 25 June 2009.

Coco Avant Chanel

'Coco Avant Chanel', starring Audrey Tatou, tells the story of the designer Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel. Directed by Anne Fontaine, the movie depicts Chanel's life before she achieve the legendary status that we know today. The movie also stars Benoît Poelvoorde, Alessandro Nivola, Marie Gillain and Emmanuelle Devos.

Maison Chanel opened up their archives and collections for the production. 'Coco Avant Chanel' was shot in France in the Paris region and in Normandy.

Bulgari Celebrates 125 Years

On Wednesday 20th May 2009, Bulgari celebrated its 125th anniversary with its inauguration of the "Between Eternity and History: 1884-2009" exhibition.
Located at the Exposition Palace of Rome, this is Bulgari's first retrospective exhibition.

The exhibiton highlights Bulgari's design evolution, from the opening of its first store on Via Sistina in 1884.

Guests attended the inauguration cocktail party and dinner included Rome Mayor Gianni Alemanno, as well as cultural, business and well-known politicians. Celebrity guests included: Jessica Alba, Ginnifer Goodwin, Selma Blair, Chloe Sevigny, Beppe Fiorelli, Gabrielle Muccino, Claudio Baglioni and Francesca Neri.

The inauguration was also an opportunity for Bulgari to present a new contribution to the Save the Children's "Rewrite the Future" campaign (to provide a quality eduction to 8 million children living in war-torn countries).
Bulgari presented a limited edition collection of 11 unique couture jewels and 7 luxury watches to be auctioned at Christies New York on Tuesday 8th December 2009. All proceeds of the estimated 3 million Euro collection to be donated to "Rewrite the Future" campaign.

Vicious Threads

Vicious Threads is a special event hosted by Museum of Contemporary Art(MCA) at Circular Quay West in Sydney. Artist Kate Scardifield leads an evening of experimenting with fabric, stitch, applique and soft sculpture. There is also an opportunity to take inspiration from the exhibition of work from Australian artist Louisa Bufardeci & Japanese artist Zon Ito. The exhibition is the fourth in the'international pairing' project series, and will run from Tuesday 28th July to Sunday 25th October 2009.
