Yinka Shonibare's work discussed the issues of identity, global issues, social class and colonial history. His work in a way reflects his own bi-cultural background - born in England, raised in Nigeria and relocating back to London at 17. His "sculptures" are at once playful, elegant and colourful.

Lovefoxxx and graniph T-shirts

Lovefoxx graniph t-shirts
The band CSS formed in São Paulo with their own style of Brazilian disco punk. Described by the New York Times as "a gleeful throwback to early-1980's-art school pop", their debut album "Cansei de Sur Sexy" (Portuguese for "Tired for Being Sexy") was released in 2006. Their song "Music is My Hot, Hot Sex" was used in for an international iPod Touch ad, and became the highest charted single by a Brazilian band.

As it turns out, CSS vocalist Loxefoxxx is also a talented designer. graniph has collaborated with Lovefoxxx to create 2 limited edition t-shirts (pictured), available exclusively at graniph stores, from 20 November 2008.
