Tom, Dick and Harry



Tom, Dick and Harry is an Australian Mens label based in Sydney, launched in 2004. Tom, Dick and Harry seek to design menswear that is 'creative, functional and fashionable': Tom is 'The sportsman, the athlete, the surfer, the yachtsman, the challenged and the competitively game'
Dick is 'The artistic the adventurous, the inspirational motivator'
Harry is 'The entrepreneur, the secret agent, the lover of sports cars to private jets'. Tom, Dick and Harry were also featured in a 4 part series on Fashion TV (Foxtel). G-Star Raw Collections Spring/Summer 2007

Cards by Roger La Borde



I first noticed Roger la Borde when I saw cards from their 'Haute Couture' range (by Paula Sanz). As it turns out, Roger la Borde has worked with a range of beloved authors and graphic designers, showcasing their work in cards and gifts.

The site is divided into 4 product areas: (1)Roger la Borde, (2)Idee Fixe (3)First Press and (4)Petit la Borde. Amongst all that, you will see work from the likes of Shag, David Bray(Crowded House), and images from books like 'The Secret Fairy', 'Charlie and Lola' - you'll even see the Pink Panther. BMW and the Fashion Philosopher


BMW are promoting the BMW 1 Series with a roadtrip website. The site introduces 4 famous Australian icons ('companions') who will take you on their virtual roadtrip with the BMW 1 Series. Companions include Kathy Demos(founder of the National Design Centre) and Frederik Johnson, fashion designer of Hem and Haw. On the site, you can have a preview of your chosen companion's roadtrip music compilation (via the iTunes store), build your own BMW series 1, and sign up for a test drive. The site also offers a roadtrip collage of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, giving a hip tour of each city. If you sign up for a test drive, you can download your 'perfect road trip playlist' from iTunes store, on BMW.

The High Tea Party


'The High Tea Party' is a 'boutique expo' styled event to be held by the Sir Stamford Hotel (Macquarie St) in Sydney. For $85, you can experience a range of indulgences, like a fashion parade, Hair and Beauty Pampering, Lingerie Fittings, Styling Sessions, Gourmet Food and the like. L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival



The L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2007 (March 4 - 10) will be a showcase of 100 events for Australian and international talent. There are a number of business workshops, lead by a range of industry expertise like homewares designer Jasper Conran and Jan Shepherdson of London's Toyshop. 'Bad Hair Day' for Gaultier

The 70's was a major theme of Jean Paul Gaultier's '07 Autumn-Winter Menswear show on Monday. His models were styled with 70's bouffants and sideburns, and going down the catwalk to a disco soundtrack. More on Gaultier's menswear show here

Stella McCartney for Target Australia

Fashion designer Stella McCartney has struck a deal to create a 42 piece collection for Target Australia. The range will be unveiled at the 2007 L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, and available for sale in March. Read the full article here
